--- ### Hello, I'm Dhruv 👋 I carry many labels — father, husband, designer, builder, absurdist — but these days, I try not to cling too tightly to any of them. Professionally, the main thread in my career has been building [[Obvious]] — a product and design consultancy that helped some of India’s most dynamic startups get off the ground. After more than a decade of crafting products that found a lasting place on Indian smartphones, Obvious was acquired by [PhonePe](https://www.phonepe.com/) in early 2024. I now head design for their new apps[^1]. I live in Bangalore with my wife, toddler son, two cats, and over a hundred plants. I love making things — whether it's building products or tending to my garden. I also enjoy working out and spending time in long meditations.
